WAC 2025 - Group Exhibition at Wells Cathedral

Some more exciting news!

I am taking part in WAC 2025 - a group exhibition at Wells Cathedral with this vase. The show will be on every day, it opened on October the 8th, and will run until the 1st of November.

If you've never been to the cathedral before I strongly recommend it, it is very impressive, and it now has art installations in different spaces and corners making the cathedral even more exciting to see and explore. In the cloisters they built white walls that makes it look like an art gallery and there are lots of art works to see and buy. From paintings and drawings to sculptures, collages and textile art.

Wells as a place is beautiful to visit too, it has this lovely country-side-vibe to it, with independent and antique shops, lots of cafes, old pubs and some good charity shops! So don't miss it.

When I went to drop my vase off a couple of weeks ago, I walked around the Cathedral's grounds and wondered into the Bishop's Palace & Gardens. There, in the moat surrounding the palace, I saw a group of swans that used their beaks to pull a string that rings a bell, indicating that they want to be fed. I kid you not!

Apparently it all started in the late 1800' with the Bishops' daughters feeding them and giving them a bell with a string to pull. The tradition lasted to this day and now it's the gate keepers that feed them regularly. I have seen my share of swans and ducks in the UK, but I have never seen anything like that! I hope you get to see that too if you're visiting the Cathedral.
