Milan Design Week 2026

If you're into design you're familiar with Milan Design Week, it's the biggest event in Europe happening once a year in April. There are design events happening All across Milano, from emerging designers and student shows to big brands launching new products or collaborating with architects, designers and artists.

Everyone who's anyone in the design business is here during that time of year. And this year I'm here too. Hurray.

I last exhibited in Milan Design Week a decade ago in Lambrate, it was a group exhibition curated by Form & Seek and It was a great experience. There was so much going on and it felt like it was the place to be, both in terms of getting exposure as a designer and in terms of keeping up to date with what was going on in the design world.

Back then I divided my time between being at the exhibition space talking to people and press, and between running around Milan's different areas to see all the other exhibitions that looked interesting to me. It was inspiriting and quite intense. I loved every moment of it.

At the end of the week I felt like I saw so much and that there was so much I didn't get to see. I guess that's the beauty of Milan Design Week.

Since then a lot has happened. In 2016 I first became a mother, then I became a mum for the second time, and Covid happened, then we lost a dear family member to cancer and after that we left London to Bristol. It took about 2 years since I left my studio in London until I turned the garage in our back garden into my studio... And here we are! It's April 2026 and it's Milan Design Week again. And I'm finally back!

I'm taking part at a group exhibition called Designed to Exist at KUUN showing my Blue & White vase. if you're around come and have a look, I think the curators have done a great job selecting interesting objects and products to show.

Ciao
